AD: MINNESOTA GRANDPARENTS SUPPORT MARRIAGE EQUALITY | Freedom To Marry has launched a new marriage equality ad in Minnesota featuring Yvonne and Fred Peterson of Duluth, who have been married for nearly 60 years. Their grandson is gay, and Fred believes “gay and lesbian people want to get married for the same reason that I wanted to marry my wife. Why shouldn’t other people be able to enjoy the happiness and love we’ve enjoyed through our lifetime?” In November, Minnesotans will vote on a proposed constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage.
